Moon Necklace
Textured & Tactile Moon Necklace. Sterling Silver 925
Made by a process called reticulation - heating the silver to the point where the surface melts and moves - each moon pendant is completely unique. The method requires a level of precision, yet the results cannot be controlled. Both sides of the pendant have been reticulated.
The moon pendants measure approximately 20mm in diameter, and hang on a chunky Belcher chain. This can be altered to suit your personal preference. To alter the ‘moon’ diameter, chain or chain length, please email victoria@blackcirclejewellery.co.uk and I will be happy to help. This item can also be made as a ring, earring/s, cufflink/s, charm or lone pendant.

Caring for your silver jewellery
Do not apply perfume or other sprays while wearing your silver jewellery.
Substances like oil, nail polish, nail polish remover, chlorine, sanitiser and perfume may react with silver jewellery and cause it to tarnish. This is also true for sweat, so make sure you remove your jewellery when exercising, showering, bathing or swimming.
After wear, clean your jewellery with a cotton pad or a very soft cloth to remove any dust and dirt. Gently buffing the surface of your jewellery using a soft jewellery cloth, helps restore shine.
If your jewellery needs deeper cleaning, you may clean it with warm, soapy water. Soak it for a few minutes before drying with a soft jewellery cloth. If your silver jewellery has tarnished, you may use a jewellery cleaner.
To avoid scratches, wrap your jewellery in a soft cloth after cleaning or keep it in a jewellery box separate from other pieces when stored. Small zip-locks work great.
Store like items together. Storing various metals together causes items to tarnish.
Please note that all items are made by hand to order. Therefore, no two pieces will be identical. The piece in the photograph is a true representation of the design, but small variants should be appropriately expected. This item can be personalised, specifically measured and/or made in gold.
